Who We Are
The Far Rockaway/Arverne Nonprofit Coalition, a project of the Fund for the City of New York, is comprised of nonprofits, community-based organizations, and community leaders committed to the development of youth in the Rockaways, primarily the Far Rockaway and Arverne neighborhoods.
Among us you’ll find service providers working with youth and families in the Rockaways; founders and executive directors of nonprofits; social workers; program managers; and community organizers. Many of us are residents of the Rockaways and have worked hard for years to address the needs of the Peninsula's youth.
Who Are Our Members
Membership includes those who are able to support and uphold the Coalition’s mission, whether or not their primary area of work is with youth.
