Resource Sharing and Partnering in Service Delivery

The Far Rockaway/Arverne Nonprofit Coalition understands the importance of collaboration in achieving its mission of strengthening the Rockaway nonprofit network. In fact, collaboration is at the heart of the Coalition's work.

The Coalition has paved the way for countless community collaborations, including co-locating programs at member agencies; partnering in program delivery; writing grant proposals with other Coalition member organizations to secure resources for the Rockaway community; supporting member agencies’ work and events; and so much more. During every monthly meeting, Coalition members and guest organizations share vital information about their work in the community. Perhaps the best example of the collaborative efforts of Coalition member agencies is the annual Youth Summit.

The Coalition is committed to seeking new ways to collaborate and share resources.
